The Igloo – Children’s Book Illustration

A self-initiated children’s picture book exploring the emotional impact of climate change, plastic pollution, and habitat loss through the journey of a polar bear.

The story follows a lone bear who, after losing his icy home to global warming, embarks on a quiet but powerful search for a new place to live. Through sweeping arctic landscapes, warming seas, and traces of human impact, the book gently introduces young readers to environmental themes in a poetic, visually engaging way.

Illustrated in soft pastel tones with fine textures and spacious compositions, The Igloo invites reflection while offering hope.
The book features both full-colour spreads and linework pages, giving a behind-the-scenes look into the making process and the narrative development.

This project combines illustration, storytelling, and social awareness - sparking meaningful conversations with children about our changing planet.
